Caviar delivery across South Africa

Caviar is only as good as the last hour of its journey. Here is exactly how ours is handled, what it costs and where it goes.

The cold chain

Cold from our fridge to your door

Freezing ruins caviar: the pearls burst and the texture goes. So we never freeze it, and we never let it warm up either.

Sourced direct

Straight from trusted producers. No layers and no resellers in between, which is why the price stays honest.

Held cold

Limited batches, stored between −2 °C and −4 °C. Never frozen, so the pearls stay whole and firm.

Packed cold

Every order is packed to hold that temperature for the trip, whether it is crossing Cape Town or the country.

Delivered cold

Handed over personally in Cape Town, or couriered nationwide for a flat R200.

Pay-on-delivery is Cape Town only, because the courier network outside the city cannot collect payment for us. Everywhere else is paid by card at checkout.

When it arrives

What to do with the tin

Straight to the fridge

Put the unopened tin in the coldest part of your fridge. Do not freeze it.

Open it late

Open the tin just before it reaches the table, not while you are still cooking.

After opening

Keep it covered and refrigerated, and enjoy it within a few days.

Need it on a particular day?

Message us with the date before you order and we will plan the delivery around it.
